Human trafficking is a form of modern-day slavery where people profit from the control and exploitation of others. Human trafficking victims have been identified in cities, suburbs, and rural areas in all 50 states and in Washington, D.C. There are more individuals in slavery today than at the height of the trans-Atlantic slave trade! There is no distinct profile of trafficked victims. They come from all all backgrounds, from the cities and suburbs, many have never gone to school while others have a degree. Human trafficking in the United States alone is a lucrative booming industry.
One of my passions is to provide hope for those who have no voice. Won’t you please consider becoming part of the 28 VOICES circle to raise awareness and give support to those who never dreamed they would be bought and sold into such unimaginable circumstances.
HERE’S HOW TO BECOME A VOICE
Wellspring Living is one of only a handful of places across the country that specifically provides not only a place for victims of domestic human trafficking to go once rescued but also provides a continuum of programs to victims to receive rehabilitation and return restored and ready to take their place in society with dignity and hope.
If 28 people give just $2.00/month or a one time annual $24 donation they will help defray monthly costs of rehabilitating one girl. For less than you might spend on just one cup of coffee you can make the difference in a girl’s life. Won’t you please become part of the 28 VOICES circle. You will be acknowledged for your generosity. Save your change and donate to change their lives. Just click on the link and make your donation. You may donate monthly or give a one time annual gift of $24. Be sure to indicate 28 VOICES where it says “For whom or what” on the donation page.
If you prefer to mail your donations you will be able to do that also, on your check to Wellspring, place 28 VOICES in the memo.
